Adult Knots

Adult leaders can earn knots through service and training.

Adult Awards:

• Available to all adult leaders

  • Scouter's Training Award - 2 years service, advanced training, leadership in setting performance goals

  • Religious Emblem Knots - Adult leaders with outstanding religious service to youth. (must be nominated)

  • District Award of Merit (awarded by district) - Adult leaders with noteworthy service (must be nominated)

  • Silver Beaver (awarded by council) - Adult leaders with outstanding service (must be nominated)

  • James E. West Fellowship - Adult leaders who contribute $1,000 or more to the council endowment trust fund

  • William D Boyce New Unit Organizer - Adult leaders who start a new pack, troop, ship or crew.

• Scoutmaster Only

  • Scouter's Key - Scoutmasters with three years or more tenure. Similar requirements as the Scouters Training Award

  • Unit Leader of Merit - For distinguished Scoutmasters.
